Support Systems and Metal Framing Systems
Atkore Unistrut offers a full metal framing system including a comprehensive range of accessories. Available in a variety of finishes, the system requires no drilling and is easily installed with a simple wrench. Completely flexible, adaptable and versatile, the system is also 100% reusable.
Metal Strut Channel
Cold rolled and available from 1.5mm and 2.5mm steel strip, channels are available in a range of finishes:
- Plain oiled (PO)
- Pre-galvanised (PG)
- Hot-dip galvanised (HG)
- Deep hot-dip galvanised (DG)
- Stainless steel marine grade (SS)
- Electro zinc plated (ZP)
The range of channels includes plain or slotted styles in multiple channel combinations. Combination channels are manufactured in pre-galvanised steel and spot welded whilst hot-dip galvanised channels are continuously seam welded. Channels are available in standard 3m or 6m lengths – bespoke lengths also available.

Atkore Defender™ Corrosion-Resistant Metal Framing
Designed specifically for harsh outdoor environments, the Atkore Defender range provides a cost-effective alternative to stainless steel whilst out-performing the corrosion-resistance of hot-dip galvanized (HG) options.
Offering a complete system solution in this revolutionary material, this new range includes the following:

- Hardware: hex head cap screws, hexagon nuts, flat washers, steel coupler nuts, steel threaded rod and lock washers

Atkore Defender is a combination of two proprietary material coatings conforming to ASTM standards A1046 and A1059. These products not only withstand salt spray and high humidity but also other environmental extremes.
Key benefits of Atkore Defender:
- Self-healing coating: the unique properties of Atkore Defender essentially means that the steel can re-protect itself if cut or scratched. This self-healing property not only eliminates the need for secondary touch-ups where damage occurs during installation, but overall this maintains quality, longevity and increases productivity at time of install.
- Streamlined installation: eliminates binding of threads associated with HG
- Up to 3 times more corrosive-resistant than HG: where rust may form on cut end of HG, Atkore Defender heals over time
